Choose exactly the series you want

A subscription consists of a series of seven or eight concerts, and you can choose between six different series: A, B, C, F1, F2 or L. If you choose to subscribe you ensure your own seat in concert hall throughout t the entire season – and you have the right to keep this seat in the following season, if of course you wish to.

If you subscribe you also get the opportunity to invite both friends and family to a concert staring the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. When subscribing you automatically get two free guest ticket.

Serie A

The traditional A-serie includes major international profiles, such as the brilliant violinist Leonidas Kavakos and the first class soprano Dorothea Röschmann, and the maestros Fabio Luisi and Yuri Temirkanov.
Experience the music personality of conductor and soprano Barbara Hannigan, who are preforming in the concert hall for the first time.

Serie B

In serie B you can experience music from all the corners of the world: New York Philharmonic guests DR Koncerthuset where they performe Mahler and Bartók. The russian born piano virtuoso Igor Levit performs Ravel and maestro Luis conducts Mahler’s 7. symphony, and then there is a danish premiere performance of Rune Glerup. The serie concludes with Strauss’ intense tone poem Also Sprach Zarathustra.

Serie C

Serie C offers a sparkling team of the worlds leading piano players. Elisabeth Leonskaja plays Beethoven, Alexandre Tharaud perform a danish premiere of Hans Abrahamsen’s piano concerto and Sir András Schiff plays Beethovens exuberant 1. piano concerto and conducts the Nelson-messe by Hayden.
Look forward to the traditional performance of the christmastime Messiah messe by The Danish National Vocal Ensemble, the jubilee Niels W. Gade Comala cantata and the Mahler-savvy Adam Fischer, whom will be conducting the Danish National Symphony Orchestra.

Serie F1

The Danish National Symphony Orchestra’s forthcoming principal conductor, Fabio Luisi, will be getting up on the podium for two concerts in F1 serie. He will be conducting Mahler’s lavish and dramatic 9. symphony and Verdi’s Requiem, a vocal masterpiece, together with the Danish National Concert Choir and a great lineup of soloists. Additionally the serie will include both music from Per Nørgård, a prominent figure in the danish music scene, and the New York Philharmonics, who will be performing Berlioz, amongst other things.

Serie F2

The serie F2 is packed with Mahler! The international star soprano Dorothea Röschmann interprets Mahler’s beautiful Rückert-Lieder, Fabio Luisi conducts Mahler’s darkest and most magical grand symphony nr. 7. And last but not least Adam Fischer will be standing on the podium with Mahlers rarely performed 6. symphony. Besides Mahler the serie offers Beethovens grand 9. symphony conducted by maestro Manfred Honeck, and it includes the french music of Saint-Saëns and Messiaen

Serie L

In this serie you can look forward to the violinist as well as this years winner of the Sonning award Leonidas Kavakos, who will be performing Brahms together with maestro Luisi on the podium. The Danish National Symphony Orchestra will be celebrating the 200 year anniversary of Niels W. Gade by performing Elverskud. Easter will also be celebrated, together with the Danish National Concert Choir, in a delightful easter program that culminates with the performance of Poulenc’s Stabat Mater.
